Scenes From The Second Storey was the 1993 debut album from San Diego-based The God Machine. A minor classic of post-rock, goth and metal that influenced subsequent important bands from Rage Against The Machine to Converge, managing to achieve intensity and catharsis without tipping over into performative rage, it spawned the equally well-received single ‘Home’.
