Allison and Katie Crutchfield have formed a new band called Snocaps. Their 13 track debut album, which was surprisingly released as a download, will now be available on vinyl.

"Snocaps" is an indie rock album reminiscent of Allison's band Swearin and Katie's early albums as Waxahatchee. It was born out of the twin sisters' desire to make music together again as they did in their teens and twenties. Allison and Katie are supported by their friends and close collaborators Brad Cook and MJ Lenderman.

The album was produced almost entirely by Cook and all four musicians play multiple instruments on the album. After a handful of concerts in late 2025, Snocaps will be put on hold indefinitely, although as Katie says, "Allison and I have been working together in some capacity for over 20 years," so it's virtually certain that they will work on music together again at some point in the future.
